Hey all, I have been running Hard Mode Missions for quite some time now, and seeing the importance of the hero builds I figured I'd post them here. I do like to add, I always recommend going with 2 persons and 6 heroes as this will allow for the most universal succesful builds.
I will be editing this post and adding more builds but for now , I will post my success build to beating Gate of Madness easily in HM as an elementalist;

Strategy; just get to Shiro and the Lich, try to pull the Lich Seperately for making an easy kill, blinding and weakening them will effectively cut their damage to 3.33% of their total (10% hit chance at 33.33% damage...). After the Lich died, go cap the shrines whilst blinding/weakening Shiro, make sure you keep dual attunement up and running at all times or else your energy will drain too fast. To kill Shiro, leave to the temple exit so you can easily break aggro from Shiro, at that point it should be fairly easy to push him over the edge. Good luck.

Usage; Cast Enduring Harmony on yourself; followed up by Enraging Charge, only use "For Great Justice" just before hitting your target to ensure you'll have the shout lasting as long as possible. Then after getting the adrenaline for the initial hit, use flail and keep spamming Dragon Slash as it comes available. Use YMLAD to cause instant knock-down and deal damage. Just get the Warrior General down fast enough, finish his Margonite friends, then head to middle granite defense, then whack Monk General Boss, head to middle granite defense , whack Paragon Boss, then whack Elementalist General Boss; total cakewalk.
Maybe I will write more in-depth guides about these 2 missions some day. Maybe not. I will defenitely publish more PvE builds for Hard Mode though.
